Animals
Most of these photographs come from zoos: Barcelona Zoo (Barcelona, Spain), Taronga Zoo (Sydney, NSW, Australia) and Australia Zoo (Beerwah, Queensland, Australia). But I was also able to photograph some animals in the wild, such as insects, sparrows, seagulls and pets.

Great Barrier Reef
These photographs were made with an overrated $25 water-resistant camera with no flash, while I was snorkelling on the Great Barrier Reef, off the shore of Lady Musgrave Island (Queensland, Australia). The quality of these photographs is below the average standard of this website. However, I wanted to public them anyway, since they represent one of the world's wonders, which could disappear in a life's time.

Landscapes
These photographs were taken during my summer hikes on the Spanish Pyrenees. Some of the photographs also show the French mountains.

Objects
I do not usually photograph objects, but sometimes I do. These are some of the pictures I like.

Panoramics
Each of these pictures is made out of many photographs. They show some of the panoramas I like best, such as Lady Musgrave Island, Sydney and mountains.

People
These photographs represent people in some of their most intense expression. Kids have a big role in this category, since they are naturally expressive.

 Retalladors
These are photograph taken in a show in Barcelona. This is not like bull fighting. Instead, the participants face the bull without any weapon. They (try to) avoid the bulls with spectaculars jumps and quick movements. The best part of the show is that at the end, the bull is not killed.

Sport

• Barcelona Bike Show 08

Here you can find some of the photographs I took at a bike show in Barcelona in 2008. They show freestyles and jumps.

• Barcelona Supercross 08

These photographs were taken in the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona. They show some spectacular motorbike jumps and races.

• Catalunya VS Argentina

This was a match between a selection of the best player in Catalonia (Spain) and Argentina. The game ended 0-1 for the South Americans. Amongst the most famous players there are Messi, Higuaín and Agüero for Argentina, and Valdés for Catalonia.

• F.C. Barcelona

This was a historical day for F.C. Barcelona. It was the day after they won the Champions League Final in Rome against Manchester United. This cup was one of the three F.C. Barcelona won in 2008/09 season, along with the Liga and the Copa del Rey. These photographs were taken at the Camp Nou stadium.

• Gee Gees

These photographs show university athletes from the University of Ottawa, in different competitions. Sport is an important component of North American universities, and attracts media and fans’ attention. These competitions are very good showcases for young athletes.
